Maintenance: The layer has a trigger that fills in PICK_UP_DAYS,MAP_LABEL, COLLECTION_OPTIONS,FREQUENCY, NEXT_PICK_UP_DATE from GIS_DATA.DOMAIN_LEAF_COLLECTION. Mapping should be based on the STATUS. The only caveat is when items are symbolized in pro and arcMap the Label stays the same as when it was first added to the map, it doesn't update with the domain. The table data is automatically update just not the symbology label. Once we are fairly confident that the changes are in for the year, any maps need their labels updated manually in the map documents.
