Highway 401 - Lane Reduced King Street Bypass TO King St E W To 401 W On Reason: Road Reconstruction (MTO)
Details: Expect delays up to 15 minutes. Highway 401 Westbound traffic to be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes from Fountain Street to 0.3 kilometre east of King Street. Eastbound traffic to be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes from 1.0 kilometre West of Homer Watson Boulevard to 0.4 kilometre East of King Street. Highway 401 Eastbound to King Street Northbound ramp exit 278B will be closed for a long duration closure. Eastbound traffic will be able to access northbound King Street from the new temporary ramp from 401 eastbound to Shantz Hill Road. Lane Reduction, Traffic Barrels, crash trucks, construction signage. Speed reduction to 80 kilometres per hour. 4 metres for lane 1, 4 metres for lane 2. Ramps closures. The Highway 401 ramp from northbound King Street to westbound Highway 401 is closed for a long duration closure. This closure is to remain in place until May of 2024. April 19, 2024 - April 26, 2024
